Born out of passion for food, Umami Catering Co. is a family-owned Gourmet Catering Company specializing in delivering memorable catering services. Established in 2016, a loanword from the Japanese, Umami can be translated as “pleasant savory taste”. The neologism was coined from a Japanese nominalization of umai (うまい) “delicious” and mi (味) “taste”. We believe that using Umami as our brand will deliver amazing food that is rich in flavor, and bring joyfulness as well as satisfaction.

Mr. Albert Wijaya, is a professionally trained chef from Le Cordon Bleu, California, USA, who has many years of experience in the F&B industry and has established a number of restaurants such as The Holy Crab and Holy Smokes.
